• A paid paramedic is available in the area 24/7, ensuring immediate expert attention.

• Our team includes highly trained volunteer members who are on standby 24/7.

• We boast a fleet of five ambulances (Units 15, 16, 17, 18 & 19) and two first response vehicles (Unit 80 & 81) for swift response.

• Our dedicated volunteer EMTs, EMT CCs and Paramedics are dilligently assigned to duty shifts across the four companies every night. 

 

Our rich history dates back to the late 1940s when we established the Centereach Fire Department Medical Unit and acquired our first ambulance. Over the years, we've continually evolved to better serve our community. Today, we respond to over 2000 E.M.S calls annually, ensuring the safety and well-being of our neighbors is our top priority.
