Centereach Fire Department E.M.S service dates back to the late 1940’s, when the Centereach Fire Department Medical Unit was formed and first ambulance was purchased. It was later separated into it’s own ambulance company within the Department from 1976-1995 before being disbanded and merged into each of the four companies of the Department.
Each year the Centereach Fire Department responds to over 2000 E.M.S calls.
